Series 2 of Misfits has scored four nominations for the 2011 BAFTA Awards. The series is up for Best Drama Series, Best Supporting Actor (Robert Sheehan), Best Supporting Actress (Lauren Socha) and Best New Media. The awards will take place in London on 22nd May.
Misfits has been nominated for Best Multi-Platform Project at this year's Broadcast Digital Awards and Best Cross-Platform Project at the BANFF World Television Festival in Canada. 
Misfits has picked up three nominations for this years BAFTA Craft Awards. Tom Bowyer has been nominated for Production Design, Vince Pope for Original Music, and Matt Jarvis, Chloe Moss, Owen Priestly and Carl Hodler are up for the Digital Creativity award. 
Misfits Series 2 has been nominated for seven Golden Nymphs - Outstanding International Producer (Murray Ferguson, Petra Fried, Howard Overman), Outstanding European Producer (Murray Ferguson, Petra Fried, Howard Overman), Best Actress in Drama 2011 (Antonia Thomas, Lauren Socha) and Best Actor in Drama 2011 (Robert Sheehan, Iwan Rheon and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) - at the 51st Monte-Carlo TV Festival, which will take place between 6-10 June 2011.
Misfits was the only programme to win in two categories at the Broadcast Awards 2011 at the Grovesnor House Hotel last night. Congratulations to cast and crew for picking up Best New Programme and Best Multichannel Programme.
The second series of Misfits has been nominated for a much-coveted South Bank Award. The South Bank Awards celebrate the best of British culture and achievement across visual art, theatre, opera, dance, comedy, classical music, pop, TV drama, literature and film. The ceremony will take place on 25th January 2011 at The Dorchester Hotel, London.

Misfits has won two RTS Craft Awards. Congratulations to Mark Holt who picked up the prize for Special Effects, and Roger Dobson, Billy Mahoney, Tony Gibson and Russell Jeffrey who took the award for Sound.
With the second series currently in production, a repeat of the first series of Misfits will air on Channel 4 starting Saturday 10th July at 10pm.
