DEBRIS BY MATT HARTLEY MAKES IT ONTO THE BRIT LIST 2022 by Charlie Langdell

Yesterday the Brit List 2022 was revealed to include DEBRIS by Matt Hartley, a thriller on Clerkenwell’s development slate.

In DEBRIS, a small Devonshire fishing community’s world is turned upside down when a mysterious boat is found floating out at sea. This is a character-led thriller, shining a light on the world tourists never see in coastal villages, and the lengths those who live there will go to in order to survive.

Matt Hartley is an exciting new writing talent working with Clerkenwell to develop a number of different thrillers, all rooted in idiosyncratic locales across the UK.
